On Sunday, February 5, 2017, between 09:00 and 12:00 Mountain Time (UTC-07:00), dr2dr will be unavailable, but only so we can bring you amazing new features!
What features, you ask? Hold on to your hats!
New Features for Critical Results Reporting
The latest release of dr2dr now incorporates new conversation labels and notification functionality designed to help critical results reporters meet their notification and acknowledgement guidelines.
Critical Results label for Conversations
dr2dr users set as a Critical Results Reporter now have the ability to label conversations as a critical results report.
Request Acknowledgement Options
Along with the new label, we have given critical results reporters the ability to request a read acknowledgement from the recipient of the critical result. Request acknowledgements can be set to notify the sender if the message has not been read within a customizable period of time, ranging from minutes to weeks.
Critical Result/ Overdue Acknowledgement Notifications
We have also created new notification settings for critical result request acknowledgements. Request acknowledgement notifications are always on; you will always receive a request acknowledgement notification, even if your default notifications are set to never. These notifications can be delivered via email, SMS (text message), or both.
Templates
The latest release of dr2dr now provides users with the ability to create and save conversation templates. Templates can be saved under the user’s personal mailbox, or under any clinic mailbox the user manages. Templates can be especially helpful for critical results reporters; templates allow the user to ensure that any specific information they send with critical results are included in every message.
New Features for the Address Book
New Search Functions
This latest release also includes a few handy search shortcuts for the dr2dr Address Book. In addition to the search bar you’re used to, we have included a few new search buttons:
• All: clicking this button will display all entries in the address book
• My Favorites: this button will list all doctors, users, or clinics you have added as a favorite
• My Recents: This button will list the last 20 contacts you have messaged within dr2dr
Invite Inactive Users to Start Using dr2dr
We’ve added the ability to invite inactive users to join you on dr2dr. Doctors who haven’t started using dr2dr will show as inactive in the address book. To invite an inactive doctor, simply send them a message. They’ll receive an email asking them to join your conversation on dr2dr.
